Hi Anyone out there that can give any idea of the Tare weight of a 6x2 MAN F 2000 22.403FLT S sleeper mid lift unit or any MAN 6x2 unit
Cheers CCK
We have a 1999 26.414 with a Hendrickson mid lift and the original operator (coolchain) had 8000kg put on the back of the cab. Judging by the weight of newer units it looks about right.
Hi Poleman, Thanks for that. Cheers CCK
Update thanks to Craig for his email & Poleman for your input Thanks everyone who took the time to look
Afternoon Mel, we have been doing a little more research into your request, the model you gave refers to a 4 x 2 tractor unit the model definitions are as follows:
FLT is a 4 x 2
FVLT is a twin steer 6 x 2
FPLT is a mid lift.
If the vehicle you are looking at is a mid lift but with the model FPT we believe this may have has a Hendrickson conversion. If this is the case we believe the tare weight will be 7500 to 7600kgs.
I hope this information is of use and will be pleased to assist further should you require.
Kind Regards,
The last good truck man built in my opinion
Had a couple roadhaus’s. good motors
