Anyone know the story of these trucks? Looking at the tax disc some of them have been there for at least 7 years. Scania and Renault had a full load of toiletpaper, IVECO had some remainders of electronics.
i know where im heading to get me a 143 v8
They look in pretty good nick for something that is supposed to have been dumped for years!!!
No flat tyres and still quite a lot of trim, battery covers etc etc that’s not been robbed off them!
Could they be exports that still get local use?? Cant believe that 143 is just sitting there!!

That parking is quite well guarded, cameras everywhere. I have been there many times and the trucks are always at the same spot. Tanks are sucked empty, no mirrors, DAF had one sidewindow smashed in, lot’s of dust on them. Doors of the 143 were open, I looked inside, some british maps and magazines lying around.
The Scania & the trailer don’t match up. Its not a fridge ,just a supermarket trolley . Nothing with any of the trucks adds up . In Spain its usually drugs. There is a ferry from Malaga to Cueta ,maybe there is a connection ? But they usually return empty .

I was also thinking about drugs or something, it’s a customs parking. Renault also had same kind of trailer as Scania. They are also all from Scotland, I think.
Looking at the DVLA website the Renault was last taxed in 2001 and the Scania in 2002
If they had come from Maroc the compound is in Algarciras. The thing that throws me is the one loaded with toilet rolls ;that can only be an import to Spain? But that whole stretch of coast from Malaga to Gib is rife with big time drug dealers.
Don’t make sense to leave stuff parked up if its been confiscated ? why not auction it off or scrap it ?

It can take years for a case to come to court in Spain and longer if appelas are involved before anything can be sold off by which time it would be worthless after so long sitting in the heat.
There was a Aduana parking place in Pamplona & some terrific trucks were left to rot .I was driving an old banger at the time.
I notice that the curtains/blinds are shut on the renault and the iveco. Maybe a skeleton on the bunk in them
interesting find and photos - when i saw the iveco had a potteries reg I immediately thought it might be that numpty who used to come on here (ian summat?) carrying live ammo again
and that eurotech(wreck) has false plates its an 08 reg if you look
I read it as K 808 DVT
i thought that also but after blowing up the photo the font is different on the 2nd letter.
if so that would answer the question re used for smuggling ■■?

I read it as K 808 DVT
On looking closer, the first “8” seems to have square edges on the “K” side
KB08 DVT…a bit sus
They have all been in there for years, I often wondered if they were abandoned by drivers, but can only guess.
The Scania has a hire trailer on, so am guessing the hire company may know the story behind that truck
NWES Trailer hire from Preston
I have been using the TIR park for about 6-8 years or more and they have always been there, I can’t remember one having a broken window though, that must have happened fairly recently I would think
Usually the drivers are helping the Guarda Civil with their inquiries . For years I thought it was Guarda Seville .
They where drug runners i believe, according to my spanish friends.
