I saw a new Maersk depot being built nearby and I was trying to find out if they’re going to be needing drivers but I’ve been unable to find any driver jobs advertised by them anywhere - on their website they have positions for engineers, software devs, customer accounts etc. you know, for people with brains. On indeed it’s the same not a single job posting related to driving. Are they using agencies only or what’s the deal with them?
Very few shipping lines run their own trucks. Most of the boxes are moved by hauliers such as Maritime, Goldstar, Express Freight etc.

Thought mearsk got there fingers burned with pantalvers and Norfolk line. They finally sold pentalvers after years of trying in 2016
