Just found out today I’m being made redundant. Was just wondering if any of you’s know any half decent agencies around the North East to sign up to. had my Class 2 for 1 year, and have CPC and digicard.
I used to use pertemps always found them ok, just on the bottom of Northumberland ST. 0191 2557900. Like any agency they’ll give there long established drivers all the cream then you’ll get whats left,only fair i suppose.

Try to get on with your local council and sign with all of the agencies in your area.
Doesn’t matter now, boss called me in for a quick chat, turns out he’s decided to get a class 2 wagon in and I’ll be moving up from 7.5t to class 2 work. Trunking to Milton Keynes and back a couple of times a week, pay rise and a bit extra night out money too.

Might be worth having words with your boss about being so hasty in making you redundant and playing games with your livelihood.
Be interesting to see his reaction if newey you had got another job when he pulled you in for a quick chat and after he explained to you he was getting a class two wagon and you replied sorry boss have another job to go to.
I am glad your boss has turned the redundancy situation around, it must be a huge relief for you. Seems like he didn’t look at the situation properly in the first place before speaking to you . Glad it’s sorted for you now
