here is another picture of the stuart smith trans flash car.
VicAny idea what season(s) he had that paintjob? Oddly as I was an Odsal regular in the early 80s and worked at Transflash late 80s, I don’t recall the connection? Looks like “Henry Long” painted on the back too?
Yea,he did race at Odsal with that car, could of been 84-85ish.vic.
Can anyone remember Transflash operating any F86`s?
jj correct me if wrong tranflash had some semi sleepers blue were they theres dont think longs bought them think they were both owned by the ocean group before albert fisher bought longs and woods i think hope you can clear this up jj can you remember mark who worked at longs for a bit then went to loyds of ludlow who i think had wagons based in mitchell cotts or did there work then he drove a blue semi sleeper 1625 for transflash

Ello mate, a blue 1625 unit definitely rings a bell as a shunter at Mount Street but the old memory is patchy as ever
I didn’t think they were ever owned by the same group, but could be wrong, and also didn’t know anybody at Mitchell Cotts/Hellmans - lot of use today ain’t I eh?!
