You can fuel up maybe stop for 5 minutes for the wee snack place but nowhere to park really, think he means the one at the old coop junction.

No parking for wagons at the shell, but you could take a 15 at the pumps and nip across to the silk cottage right next door, scotchlands best china buffet.
If you want to park up,you can park outside Gist in Wardpark,5 min walk to Old Inns services and the aforementioned Chinese.
