I noticed it yesterday morning going northbound in the dark, it does catch your eye, saw the reflection of it on the phone box it does look strange and yes its been like that since last winter.
Guess its like car rear fogs, once switched on it never goes out.
I think it was a snow warning light…Could be wrong. They’ll use it for the good soon anyhow!

Snow warning? That reminds me a good old joke.
The indians are going to their witch doctor and ask if the winter will be severe.
“Oh, yes, the winter will be very harsh”. So they collected plenty of firewood, but winter came mild.
Next year the situation was repeated, he said the winter will be severe, they collected the wholemountain of the firewood and nothing really happened.
So next year they came and told him “If you will be wrong this time, we’ll punish you”. He got scared and asked for a day to find out, jumped into his pick up and drove to the town nearby to the meteorogical institute. Get in and asked the sciencist “Guys, you have to tell me if the winter will be severe this year”
“Oh yes” - said the head sciencist - “Indians are collecting firewood a third year already…”
So we can expect lots of snow on this stretch
