Bad crash with a Hayton Coulthard. Cab is mashed up. Hope drive had his seatbelt on.
No sign of recovery wagons. So looks to be shut for a while yet.
Oh cr@p hope all ok
Not sure but he might have hit the back of the roadwork vehicles. The roadworks truck with the flashing lights and buffers looked like it had damage on it.
A crash involving two lorries has caused long delays on one of Scotland’s busiest sections of motorway.
The incident happened on the northbound M74 in South Lanarkshire, between the Raith interchange at J5 Hamilton, and the M73 slip road at J4.
One driver is thought to have sustained minor injuries in the crash which saw debris spread across the carriageway.
Drivers experienced delays of more than 90 minutes while the road was closed. It has since re-opened.
Fire service make it sound a lot more serious, trapped by legs and had to be cut out of it. Lucky guy if his injuries turned out to be minor
Luckily I spotted it on the way back to the yard, and avoided it on the way home. Glad the driver was ok
