Eastbound off slip and westbound on are also closed at present.
Went past around 3pm all the cars involved still in place with a screen around and forensics taking photos ect…looked a grim scene.
Taking plenty of evidence so can talk their way out of the mire if they discover they killed an innocent man, if there is such a person in Huddersfield …

Gun found in car, guy previously got off in court for attempting to shoot two people - witness intimidation was suspected. Despite what they’re all saying on Facebook he seems to have been quite a nasty bit of work, one that the world is better without.
Shoot some more and close the whole bloody motorway for ever.
Dreadful piece of tarmac that 62.
The guy who got shot was no angel, was cleared for 2 counts of attempted murder after 2 men were shot, witness to the incident refused to give evidence…witness intimidation suggested as a possible reason.
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Hope PC Plod who slotted the scumbag gets a fair few beers bought for him.

Suspect arrested in pre planned operation due to firearms reported, serves him right by the look of it,that’s 1 less nasty piece of work.
Sounds like a good day at the office for West Yorkshire’s finest.
Well done to the cop that slotted him! We are all a bit safer.
How do we feel on TnUK with regards to “Blowing away known big-time criminals in extra-judicial killings” btw?
Doya think we might be taking a step in the same direction as the Phillipine’s President Duterte?

Walking the tightrope here!
On one hand I’m sure the world is a better place without this twunt but on the other it’s not justice as we in a civilised society know it.

You would require a very colourful imagination to place the dispatch of one armed & dangerous scum bag in the same category.
Interesting to see people protesting though, names and addresses noted I’m hoping. People making it clear which side they are on… hope it comes back and bites em in the backside
Further background info on the person shot. (per today’s Daily Telegraph)

Hmm not sure,it’s a pain smashing a pigeon against the windscreen every now and again but if we start launching people out of helicopters would make a right mess bouncing off your wagon.

I’ve read that this guy got away with it in the past by intimidating the witnesses against him… In other words, this guy has been “above the law” for some time already.
You can’t bust someone “above the law” because “due process” doesn’t work, as witnesses don’t turn up or “disappear” altogether.
If the police are 100% satisfied that this is a Mr Big who “always gets away with it” thanks to our lax laws in this country - then all I can say to the Police Marksman who did the deed here - is “Nice Grouping Officer”.
Good riddance to the P__i c__t. Drug dealer, charged with attempted murder & had an attempt on his own life last year & his parents are shocked? Really? I mean like ■■■■■■■ really■■?
