Not sure how you mean by a pointless comment?
In what manner would you quote, yet another lorry driver, causing misery to hundreds, maybe a thousand or so comuters

Just saying?

Your tedious M.O and use of the word thicko ( conveniently missing from your second post ) would lead anyone to use “keyboard warrior” in response to you, personally I would have said “thicko keyboard warrior” just to make the point, “moronic vacuous troll” was also an option but I suspect being called a troll would get you a little aroused.
Oh, not forgetting your recent go at trolling you also missed out “flip flop” in between thicko and lorry driver when you originally replied… :grimacing:

Enjoy your weekend son, careful when you’re in the park today after nap nap, it’s a bit windy to be chasing pigeons. Best stay at home and stick Fireman Sam on.

Chester is one of those types of trolls who is so devoid of personality in the real world that the only way to get people to interact with him is to be as nasty as possible online just to get the attention. Women don’t want him, men don’t invite him to the pub or card nights.
In essence, he should be pitied.

That’s if he/she’s old enough to go to the pub.

It may of been strapped but just another case of scaffold tubes banded together but not strapped around same old thing because no one else says owt drivers just strap over and go hoping for the best then the bands burst !

Dealing with scaffolding and formwork was my most hated part of flatbedding… well… dealing with the load came second place to dealing with builders.

“It’s banded, drive, won’t go anywhere”
“We’ve had bigger than that down here”
“What’s the problem, nobody else straps that”

Now that I’m on containers, I can’t imagine having to work for my wages again!

Oh dear ,you’ve joined the lazy club ,that’s one lower than a curtainsider driver  there’s no return !

Haha! Too right there’s no return! It’s money for nothing, though, sadly, the chicks aren’t free.

Let’s get back on topic. In relation to the original post.
My question to this forum is…

Did a thick lorry driver cause misery to hundreds/maybe thousands of ordinary citizens going about their daily business?

How do you know he is thick? But you needn’t worry he’s on a motorway slip road so he shouldn’t have inconvenienced any of your beloved two wheeled warriors or made your friends late for school

Could have been thick, lazy or inexperienced.
I once had a pack of timber go over on a m62 roundabout.
It was only because it hit the post…that it didn’t come through the side.
I wasn’t thick or lazy…but I was inexperienced…and had strapped it incorrectly.

We all get it wrong sometimes but some are luckier than others and get away with it. There are a lot of things that could contribute to this the bottom pack could have collapsed in transit without the driver knowing so even if it was strapped they would have been loose

Back in the good old days of ropes and sheets, I had trays of grapes from Hither Green up the front of the trailer with something else behind. As I went round the one way at New Cross I hit a pot hole halfway round the left hand bend as you come back on to the main drag. Several of the trays collapsed and I was lucky that the sheet held them, so yes, it could have been the same sort of thing here. BTW, I wasn’t belting about either:-)
