You know the bit that they been working on for the past five years repainting the white lines. The bit that was finished last year. Well, they’re closing it overnight for the next four months. Didn’t catch the start date unfortunately, but the advanced notice sign is up just past the J18 off slip.
On autopilot to come off there and go the M56 now. Been so long since I’ve been down that stretch couldn’t even tell you what it looks like.
Same with Cathorpe Interchange and the M1 between J19 and J17. Worked on it for years but close it a lot of nights.

Seems that since they stopped putting the ash from coal fired power stations into tarmac, it doesn’t seem to last as long.
