Coming home from work this morning M62 Eastbound and came across the awful accident in between Rochdale and Heywood Jct 20 -19,I can only offer my condolences to the car driver involved and hope the driver of the Asda lorry was uninjured,from best guesswork it appeared that the car driver (A green mondeo) had collided with the rear of a stationary vehicle on the hard shoulder ( correct please if incorrect ), the resulting tailbacks on a Monday morning were absolutely horrendous, miles and miles of stranded lorries all trying to leave the motorway,sincere condolences to the poor drivers family !

Came past it on way to leeds at 6am not a nice 1 (not that there ever is) thing I couldn’t work out was the mondeo was straight into the trailer.
