Generally besides the odd random couple of people who seem to work along the miles of roadworks (besides trucks putting down and pulling in cones for the ghost workforce) I actually saw some people working tonight, nearly fell out the window in astonishment !!!
Not only that it wasn’t just a couple guys, maybe a hundred !!! lots of trucks and vans with equipment and tarmac laying kit, don’t think I have ever seen such a large workforce on the job !
Now all they need to do is explain why they are maintaining the specs monitored 50mph enforcement in the completed sections…ffs
That’s easy.
It’s for when they realise they got it wrong and need to go back and dig it up
It took 7 years to construct the m62 from nothing through snow ice and blistering winds.
Takes these mugs 2 years to put in average speed cameras.
What have they actually done to change the road?
It won’t change anything IMO , sat here in yet another closure between 27 and 26 going nowhere fast.

See Goldilox thread.
More trucks involved, as you say nowt changes
They generally make more of a mess so longer to clean up eh
Yeah it took me 5 hours to do a 1 hour trip but at least I got home. Don’t know the ins and outs of the accident and hope the drivers involved are ok. I’m sure CSI Trucknet will fill us all in the who what and why .

Yeah - and remember the snow was so bad one year they gave up and stopped for a few months. Bet there weren’t too many high viz vests in them days…
