Anyone got any details on the truck that lay down on the sliproad between M62(e) and M60(s) today?
It happened quite early on, 10am ish? and the truck was a waste paper bulker, went over on the right hand bend just before the left bend.
I was told there was a body on the side with a cover over the head (indicating a death) but when I went past around half 11 the air ambulance was in the middle of the slip roads, they don’t send that for a death, so no idea what’s true.
Our grab driver was very close by when it went over and pretty badly shaken after seeing that event, he said the truck was going way too fast for the bend/camber in the carriageway, so must have been top heavy, i think he said it was an ejector trailer, but not sure.■■?

Might have been, just looked like a standard waste paper bulker to me, but it was a bit bashed when I passed. You know, the ones with the hydraulic arms that drag a net from either side over the top, that are always ripped to shreds and let more crap out than they stop, like Veolia have.
Was windy today, but that bit appears to be sheltered, never really noticed any wind down there anyway (use the route often) but no idea tbh, just seemed a weird place to lose it, I’d have thought if it was speed, it’d have gone on the left bend afterwards, that’s where they usually go, seesaw / pendulum effect.
nice 1 billy, good to hear no fatality. My bro said someone on the banking with a cover over their head, must’ve been mistaken - thank god…
There was a seperate accident on the same stretch where a pedestrian on the motorway was hit by something and was fatally injured. A mate of mine went past and saw the body covered over on the h/s and then he went back and they were pressure washing the blood away.
