A LORRY has crashed into the central reservation on the M62, closing one lane.
There is queueing traffic due to the accident, which is thought to have happened at about 9.35am today.
The lorry has crashed near to junction 36 on the A614 near Goole and Junction 37 on the A614 near Howden.
Lane three is closed in both directions.
It is affecting traffic heading between Leeds and Hull.
The Mail understands Humberside Police are in attendance and the driver was unhurt.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: "Police received a 999 call just after 9am this morning reporting a single road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the M62 between junction 37 at Howden and junction 36.
"It is believed an LGV white box van drove into the central reservation.
“The driver, the only person believed to be in the vehicle at the time did not sustain any injuries.”
