Just came along there at around 11 tonight heading back to Carlisle. From a distance I could see the flashing cones marking the closed exit slip, a few seconds later I’m confronted with a black 306 stopped in lane one with his left hand indicator on, drivers door open and him standing beside the car shouting something at the road workers!!! What the actual ■■■■■ Luckily I spotted him and moved over and gave him a hefty blast on the horn but what the hell■■? I couldn’t believe it and still dont.
Either he was asking why it was shut or asking for directions or something.
Bad enough he was stopped in lane one but due to the flashing cones he blended in with the lights of the roadworks. Could have been a lot worse.
