M6 what a beauty!

going northbound on the m6 new year,s eve ,passed a red golf with a punture he had the red warning triangle facing the wrong way towards his car about 3 foot behind his car .

That’s ok he’ll be indestructible with that little triangle behind

He had it that way so he not trip over it .When he retrieved it.

warning triangle … why bother … not a legal requirement in the uk to use one.
nor would i risk life and limb getting out and walking down the hard shoulder to put one out.

The Highway Code says “NEVER attempt to place a warning triangle on a motorway” and “If you cannot get your vehicle on to the hard shoulder, do not attempt to place any warning device on the carriageway”.

Having known a number of people to be killed on the hard shoulder, in spite of having highly conspicuous breakdown vehicles festooned with flashing beacons, I agree totally. Placing a warning triangle is dangerous and ineffective.
