M6 roadworks closures coming up

Copied from a letter sent to local residents in the area about up and coming closures during night times. i’ve not copied all the letter, just the information that you guys / gals might find useful.

Nigh-time closures (note; usually start at 9 / 10pm until 6am)

J19 - J18 M6 southbound.

Week commencing Monday 5th november for 6 nights.
Week commencing Monday 12th november for 5 nights.

J17 - J18 Northbound

Week commencing Monday 19th november for 5 nights.

The closures are subject to change or cancelation.
More information about the M6 J16 - J19 Smart motorway scheme (including last minute changes) can be found on the Highways England website.

Don’t shoot the messenger, I’ve seen this elsewhere and thought it may be useful to you.

17-18 is an absolute killer. Only 4 miles but any time before 0200 it’ll set you back 45 mins minimum

Just a reminder that these roadworks start tomorrow (Monday)

Appologies to the folks on the A49 and A51 as you’re going to get a lot of trucks avoiding the 18 - 19 roadworks and the official diversion chaos.

Cant remember the other one but suspect thats the Congleton two options diversion. That should be fun esp for those who chose the wrong option.
