Has anyone else noticed that the overnight closures on the M6 around Birmingham are getting earlier and earlier.
At first they would not close it until 10pm then it went to 9.30 now its 9pm when traffic flow is busy
Fortunately i was heading south but last night and Monday night at 9.45 there was a four mile tailback which equates to 12 miles of standing traffic trying to get off in a single lane at Junction 7 northbound which was taking over an hour to get through.
The Highways Agency are a joke and law unto themselves.
It really is about time the were answerable to some one at the Department of Transport.
Cost me nearly an hour on Monday evening

At the Moment this week it’s shut jcn 7 to jcn 8 when it’s closed the M6 toll should be free
