It’s the M6 and it’s a Friday so a combination that’s only outcome is delays 
Well the matrix signs said M6 closed.
Sat at j.9 for about 20 mins stationary, texted my lot to say if anybody else was coming up to warn them of it, and just as I pressed ‘send’ the traffic started moving. 
Just before that I was sat for a bit, where one of Bibbys was getting recovered with a load of paper reels all over the hard shoulder, got to wondering if he’d strapped them.
Felt ok about it as I was on premium rate for bank hol 
, …(until that is I got talking on phone to a certain fridge man on here,.who told me he’s on 3x my rate today. )

Anyhoo got back in the house for about 1800…don’t tell dozy, he thinks I’m leaving Tesco Livingston for Cornwall.

Dozy is doing what most normal people do on a bank holiday , spend a enjoyable day with there family ( though the day was spoilt by watching Barton & that useless bunch of players get beat by Ipswich ) , money doesn’t rule me like it seems it does you rob & your mates !!!

Both of you should think yourselves lucky, all my bank hols are paid at Mon-Fri flat rate.
But with the recent jump in rates/hr it makes it palatable.
^^^^ if you don’t work a bank holiday do you still get paid for it?
I only ask because I have a couple of mates who get no extra for working bank holiday but they get 10 hours pay if they don’t work them, but bizarrely choose to work them!
