Just a warning to all,
Local paper reports closed 2000 to 0600 from friday.
Due to resurfacing work.
Divert via carton rd, a6 north to carnforth.
Just remember the low bridge and turn at the x roads in carnforth towards the quarrys.
It was closed a few Fridays back as well, the low bridge is well signed.I know that doesn’t mean a lot these days like!!

There are two posts with a beam on them just after the aldi turning, and I’m assuming they light up the matrix sign at the lay by with the weight limit. I assumed at first it was to warn vehicles to keep to the middle but I went under at 15ft and nothing came up so I’m assuming it just warns if you’re over 15’9. By which time youre stuck with having to reverse back to aldi!
Not that I’d fancy aiming anything more than 15ft3 between those goalposts as for some reason there are no lines painted on the road at that bridge!
