For all that park on the industrial estate around the culina/screwfix ( myself included ) I have been told by several different people that the companies on that estate are fed up with not being able to get in & out of there sites easily during the night that they have approached the local council to have double yellows painting on the whole estate & it has been approved

Crewe truck stop is good. Obviously not so good if you have to pay for your own parking. Just sayin.
Yet again it’s been spoiled by the few

Not parking there if it’s going to be double yellow lined not worth the bleeding aggro, i’ll trundle up the a34 once the trailer has been dumped .

But if it’s going to rain over night avoid it like the plague as you won’t get back out + you have to pay

Next to sainsbury’s. take yer water wings though, the entrance road is frequently 2-3 feet deep in water!
The place in question was in the local rag not so long back about it having to be cleaned on a regular basis because of HGV drivers dumping rubbish everywhere, that’s probably the real reason.
They haven’t done the line yet…I’m there now
Just been doing some digging and it was agreed back in 2010 to paint yellow lines at this site due to obstructions caused by lorries and that the work should be done the financial year 2012/13.
Here we are 2015 and still not done I have checked the councils highways page this morning and there is no mention of any traffic orders in place for this area. My guess is due to the Tory cuts the council may not have the funds to do the works or do not see it as a priority.
If anyone is down there this week then have a look out on any lamp posts for a Notice is hereby given sign.
The area is also a parish council and it is Cresswell Parish Council.
Here is the site if anyone wants to email or ring the councillor.

I work on the estate, trucks are parked on double yellows 24/7. Most are from all over Europe, not sure if that puts parking wardens off although I’m yet to see one. Parking is allowed from 8.00pm - 8.00am but that gets ignored
there is a good lorry park in town which also has toilets that are open through the night plus if u pay 50p u can get a shower aswell.but usally is left on latch by the driver before so is free.but for 50p i dont care.
