Not been driving artics for a great length of time so was just wondering if a tractor unit complete with fridge trailer will manage into that BP Garage? I went in with an 18 tonner 4 wheeler once and it was very tight but coming at it from New Hall lane side there’s a slightly different entrance so not sure if it would be possible.

On streetview there are artics fueling up in there, so stop being a tart 
As above, if theres other trucks there your ok. Or if you just want food dump the truck out on the road, thats what i’d do if i didnt think i could get out again.
sam you could use forton/lancaster services sth before jct 31 it takes bp, or go on to charnock although its a shell, would save you leaving the motorway.
or you could fill your tank to the brim before you leave scotland and you would get well past lancashire…lol
If you’re on a BP card, only use MOTO services for your fuel, get your food vouchers - even if you just spend them on coffee’s.
For other cards, you’ve also got J38 between Scotland and J31 which takes everything and you get food vouchers or a brew (crap but better than nowt) even with Key Fuels.
Its a non HGV site.
Use the shell garage at J 31A its a proper HGV garage/services.
its not been open for long, and not many people know of its existence.
go to the bottom of the J31A sliproad, then turn left at the roundabout, and the shell garage can be seen on the roundabout ahead of you.
its always the cheapest around this area, (as they compete with asda at fulwood)
only downside is that junction 31A has restricted access, you can get off N/B and on S/B
however this will change in the future.
But whichever way you want to go, the next junction J31 is only a short drive away.

it’s got HGV pumps! Car drivers abandon themselves, making it pointless going in there! As said above use 31a northbound, it’s James halls, spar who own it, free night out once you’ve tipped in there, shell garage, subway next door!

Seems you might be right: Google Maps
But it aint listed in the above BP map as an HGV site.
I think you’d need to be a driver who enjoys a challenge
