Open again, there were 2 crashes I involving 2 truck 1 arse ending the other and the other was 2 trucks and a van which from being hit had shed its load!
That’s gonna be one busy recovery co… Kinda makes me miss recovery in a sad way (recovery drivers will understand that) i
I hope all involved are ok!
P.s on the sb carriageway jus b4 j1c there is a broken down car transporter blocking lane 2 as well!
Bowers do the recovery that neck of the woods some cracking lads, they have plenty of experience shifting wrecked trucks

Think it’s Egertons out of Sandbach services these days
Think Egertons do the smaller stuff and Mansfields the heavies
It’ll be Egertons amateurs 16+north, Bowers 17 or 18 north to 19~20 Mansfields 16 south on police contract,
FMG who do highways are Mansfields to 17 from the midlands, Bowers from 17 north to virtually croft, the other amateurs aren’t on the FMG contract in that area,
Anyway why worry, It all changes next year , NVRM2 comes in.
Who knows what could happen but the present garages on that patch on the FMG contact do an excellent job with cracking staff generally
I was going south, lots of rubber neckers meant we went SLOWLY past, looked a mess.

From 'oppo pal on scene 2nd crash was into queue, guess what happened,
A TRUCK ploughed into the back of a box van, knocking box off the chassis leaving the ‘load’ of metal trays in L2, van ended up in L3 and a range rover went up it’s Chuff,.
The truck that hit the van then got hit up the ar$e by another TRUCK which ended up with the cab up the verge & trailer in L1 and the following TRUCK managed to avoid hitting that by putting his TRUCK up the verge and leaving the trailer in L1.
I know my pal was ■■■■■■ handballing everything into L1 to keep L2 & 3 running.
Following last weeks M62 triple truck shunt and all the others on here i still wonder why drivers think they have a stopping distance of less than a foor or so when their tailgating

Downhill slip on the northbound & then a very short slip/time to get onto main carriageway which is uphill so people justb pull out causing others to take evasive action >?
As you say it’s a regular spot for multiple bumps
