Passed it earlier. Can’t speculate on the why, but looks like he got over to far to the left, and mounted the concrete barrier.
Probably for the best that in a bad accident the cab separates from the rest. It’s got it’s own chassis, all the safety stuff is there, the G forces involved in it coming to a stop will be much lower and it’d be clear of the 37 tonnes of trailer behind it.
