The M6 is closed from 16 through to 18.
Best avoided if you want a speedy journey north.

J16 - J19 on the M6 is notorious. Just wait till they start digging it up for a managed motorway…Friday afternoons will be a joy 
Closed due to bad smash northbound, hope everybody is ok. Leatrans Renault artic has hit the back of Highways Agency rigid and lost some of its load on the road.
Thankfully only added 30 mins on to our run. On the advice of others came off at J15 and up to congleton and stuff and rejoined the M6 from there.
Sounds a bad one though. I just pray for a clear run on that M6 just for one night. Any news on those involved?
