Might need a helping hand

Wow, if that is an Ainscough crane I wonder what the insurance is going to say ? They had another burn out on the M62 only a couple of weeks ago it caused chaos and took almost 2 days for everything to be cleared up.
Enjoy your tea Colin_scottish might have to be puutin yer lunch on as well, think you will be there a long time :wink:

Dave Penn;

Dunno, but he could do with a lift.

Just drop it eh.

That’s not like you to be so abrupt mate :neutral_face: You didn’t say pulleys…

The driver mast of thought “It’s getting a bit warm in here”.

i wonder if the driver stayed with the crane,or just slung his hook and legged it??

Oh dear not much left and the remains of 2 tyres on the southbound side.

Went past this guy between 34 and 35 at about 710ish.
Stopped for a brew and the found him again on the shoulder at the top of Crooklands bank.
N/s/f was well alight when I passed and the smoke was unbelievable glad I lifted just before I went through, but nutter behind didn’t and soon caught me…

Just glad I set off when I did and not 5 mins later

Tyres must have gone with a bang as picture shows them burning on the opposite carriageway.

Did the driver jib out ,probably got his head down now

Just glad I’m on leave, I was supposed to be on earlies today. I would have had a busy shift. :wink:
