I’ve given up on the M6 now night/day and use the M1 and cut across the A50.
Still 2 weeks left of the J7 to J10 crap left,think its this weekend from J6 to J8 only hard shoulder open during the day 6am to 8pm.
Then you get to M62 and its shut J11 to J12
M60 J12 to J15 and J18 to J20
Absolute joke.

We don’t even bother doing that any more going Northampton to Runcorn. Straight up the M1 onto the A50 over to Stoke.

And that’s why when going back to Howden from Runcorn we now go bottom way round Manchester.
Yup. 4 closures on my M1/M6 trunk last night.
When running out of Magna Park I timed all ways to the M6 using the… M6 surprisingly, but also using the A5 to Cannock and the M1/A50. There’s actually very little difference between going up the M6 and up the M1/A50 and you get to dodge most of the rubbish although the M1 has also been closed between J22 and J26 in various parts on various nights recently
Left Bristol last night M5 closed 3 to 2
so opt for M42 thinking M6 nope
M42 to M6 shut (M6 7 to 10 )
Pop onto A5 … closed through Cannock
M6 14 to 15 shut
M6 18 to 19 shut
Charnock Richards shut .
Then M62 M60 shut might just stick to a449 tomorrow
