M56 yesterday morning

Morning.

Had a couple of jobs on yesterday in Ellesmere Port so as I was heading towards Chester services I could see the wobbles out and recovery motors on the west bound carriage way. There was a stobrat / tosco motor on the hard shoulder but not far behind it was its entire tail lift in lane one and just behind that a stationary but badly damaged car with the entire front end caved in !!!

I’m surmising that the car collided with the truck but at what ruddy speed for the whole tail lift to detach and also for the amount of damage to the car. Surely that’s the only way or could the tail lift have fallen off and the collided with the car ■■?

Anyone else in the area and spot it ?

Didn’t spot the incident mate, but I set off from Warrington around 11am, heading to Rhyl, and it was hard work.

Snails pace.

Is it possible he hasn’t stowed his tail lift away properly and its fallen off after it catching it on the ground? Car may have collided with it after it fell off the trailer.
Ps. Didn’t see it myself, just a TNUKCSI view.[emoji3]

Yes I caught that traffic going back to Ellesmere on my second run about same time, seemed busier after Daresbury junction for creamfields to be honest

Yes. We love cannabis induced dreamfields. Once a year the council gets to blow its entire annual budget, cleaning all the surrounding area up. And the traffic disruption is also a complete delight.

As well Creamfields you’ve also got Trucknets CSI (Aircraft Accident Authority) on their way to Rhyl for the airshow.
