I hope not, that’d be really bad news
Anyone know how the driver is doing or confirm the worst.
According to local news sources the driver was airlifted away with non-life threatening injuries
Driver is Ok. Tanker had to be emptied into another one before any sort of recovery could be thought of, there was also some spillage to deal with. The tanker had gone through the central barrier and was across both c/ways.
The central barrier had to be cut through to enable trapped traffic to turn around and exit back the way they came.
The radio & TV were giving out information with regards to this from just after 2pm within minutes of it happening.
That’s good news, at least he can eventually tell the authorities what happened and is alive.
