Came past the accident southbound before the closure, looked like he had ran neatly along the embankment then off the hard shoulder then over three lanes before flattening a hell of a lot of barrier, finally coming to rest by a concrete bridge support, hope the drivers ok .

A stretch of the M5 near Worcester was closed in both directions after a lorry hit a bridge, said Highways England.
The crash happened at about 15:00 GMT in the central reservation between junction 7 for Worcester and junction 8 for M50.
A man in his 60s was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with a leg injury, said West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The M5 north reopened with one lane closure at 17:50 GMT.
One lane of the southbound carriageway opened just after 18:20 GMT.
There were long tailback and diversions were put in place.
Frank Bird, West Midlands emergency planning officer for Highways England, said: “Obviously when we come to remove the lorry it’s going to have to be a very delicate operation because it’s resting up against the central support.”

Lucky man only a leg injury, could have been a whole lot worse.

Might’ve had a heart attack at the same time? They didn’t say he hit the bridge topwise.

Means nowt. The shock could have put his ticker back into sinus rhythm
I would say - having been down to the scene yesterday evening that he was a very lucky chap. I live very close to that stretch, and its the third accident on there in the last 3 days.
The truck had gone by the time I got there, but I did wonder what the effect would have been if the same accident had happened with a concrete barrier.
Good job I diverted onto the A46 then.
