…unless it’s too windy to lift the sections of the new bridge.

I have been looking at why all of a sudden they are intrested in making an additional junction and road for the Airport. Airport traffic is hardly noticeable. I have now found out the reason.

Birmingham airport has confirmed Air India plans to increase its flights to and from the West Midlands airport in the coming months.

The airline currently operates just one service per week from Birmingham, to the northwestern Indian city of Amristar, but will increase this to three flights per week, as well as adding a thrice-weekly route to Delhi.

The additional frequencies will be phased in between October and December this year.

It’s to open up land for development, any benefits to traffic are negligible apparently.

There was a safety problem, they found, so they suspended the works. They had planned to shut the motorway for.

They didn’t indicate if it was a temporary or permanent cancellation of their plans.

lol…you found out the reason ffs…the closure has been posted for the last 6 months but due to high winds on the day they postponed for next week the 15th…

Obviously the planes land on runways. The 2 bridges are part of a £280 M airport upgrade. When have you seen queues of traffic for the Airport?
Its obviously to accommodate traffic for the airport. So something has changed.
