M40 south today

As i didnt see this accident happen,i carnt point blame.

But a young mother died and her baby airlifted to hospital! This is a shocking one to think about!
Things have got to change,Everyday Hgvs are involved in something.

Unless you know the full circumstances leading up to this accident, you can’t comment about it. Very sad that a young mother has lost her life, also sad for a young baby girl that will grow up, not knowing her mum.

Do you even know the area it occurred? I’m very familiar with it and there are accidents and problems on a regular basis. People cutting in to leave the M40 for the A41 and A34 at the last minute. There are widening works going on on the Wendlebury interchange which make can make traffic flow unpredictable. Any vehicle stalling at the lights has a major knock on in a short time. But ignore all these factors, you know everything already.

Excuse me?Im a genuine lad!!

Did i say i saw the accident?No…
But i use that slip road as well few times a week enroute to Didcot!Judgeing by your tone,You must be one of these"im older im right"
Im 27 and in my second year driving and i love it.

Steady on lads FFS.

You’re right Buses, I’m (a bit) older than you, had been driving for over 10 years (very often up and down that road) when your license was printed. Nothing new’s been published in the local press about the accident so the lorry driver hasn’t been arrested. Still, blame them if you like, you’re a veteran of 2 years and you drive to Didcot so we should bow to such experience.

There was a second serious RTC in Oxfordshire yesterday; A Scania tipper and a motorbike collided outside Earthlines’ quarry at Shellingford. Motorcyclist suffered two broken legs. No reports of the tipper driver being arrested either.

Oxford Mail now update has a photo of car with front end damage, rear end intact. No sign of the lorry. The victims’ baby is fine but the Oxford Mail aren’t interested in saying about the lorry driver. :unamused:

I was in one of the vehicles trapped between Jnt 9 and 10,it’s awful when you find out that someone soo young has lost her life with a newborn baby too very, very tragic indeed my heart goes out to the family of that poor girl and the little one she left behind.

RIP.

with the exception of The Taff and silver surfer, how can all the other posters on this thread trivilise such a tragic event with cheap comment petty arguments and back biting, take a look at yourselves chaps and grow up

May the young lady rest in peace, and her friends and family find some comfort in their memories of her
