M4 closed by fatal lorry crash
The police have warned the M4 could be closed for a “significant” part of Monday Part of the M4 near Bristol is likely to be closed for most of the day after one person died in a crash.
The road was closed after a crash east of the Second Severn Crossing between junctions 21 and 20.
Police said the crash involved two lorries and that one person had died. They added the road would be closed for a “significant” part of the day.
Anybody know which lorries were involved ?
One of them was a tesco, but didn’t see what the other one was. Looked nasty though

M4 Bristol - Slow traffic on M4 eastbound between J22 M4 Second Severn Crossing and J20, M5 (Almondsbury Interchange), because of an accident involving two lorries earlier on. Diversion in operation - to leave the M4 at J22, then head South on the M49, then North on the M5, to re-join the Eastbound M4 at J20. All lanes have been re-opened. Congestion to J23 M48.
