don’t know if any other driver can shed light on what happened on the M4 today,matrix sign flashed up CAUTION ONCOMING VEHICLE,SLOW DOWN,40 MPH,in all the years I have been driving that was a new one on me,nobody took any notice of the limit even when it went down to 20MPH,i like the other drivers no doubt drove along anticipating some loony on our side [eastbound],this went on for approximately ten miles,then nothing,signs went off and that was it,if every driver adhered to the 20MPH there would have been a massive tailback,as I said for absolutely nothing

Don’t know but they have been known to do that when a vehicles has spun out and is facing the wrong way so they can turn it round

Don’t know but they have been known to do that when a vehicles has spun out and is facing the wrong way so they can turn it round

possibly,but as I said there was nothing not even as you say [an accident]
