M3 road works over running by 6 months

Just been watching BBC southtoday and the Highways have said M3 road works will not finish till summer next year :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

I hope they take the time yo resurface the whole stretch they’ve been working on - it’s diabolical, especially between the M25 and Lightwater/Bagshot.

Any sort of roadworks in this country takes an eternity, resurfacing the A338 into Bournemouth is taking near enough a year, the Black Dam roundabout roadworks in Basingstoke over ran by about 6 months and now the M3 roadworks going to over run by about 6 months, even the A322 going into Bracknell from Bagshot is taking its time getting done, some serious money being made by people involved in this

Yes they’ve started to as there’s new tarmac on n/s

A338 surface is pants and it’s brand new :cry:

Black Dam is a huge improvement, though.
