m25 snowbound

Just drove from andover to haverhill. Just to let you know that the m25 and m11 are both snowbound with no use of the outside lane. Surrounding roads are also very slow due to the snow and ice. Be prepared for anything tonight or tomorrow morning folks.

I’m starting 4.30 from East Yorkshire to go down to long Sutton in lincs. not looking forward to the driver at all!!

its a little bit of snow FFS and you are a driver so crack on and get the job done. slow down a little bit if needed and leave more space job sorted

The A14 is the same
Lots of dicks doing 20 on a clear slushy road pmsl
And then some more dicks doing 70 plus
I made it to Felixstowe and then to Banbury with no problems just take it steady and avoid the dicks - and there were loads of them
Strange though the majority were all old people ? WTF
Must be going to clear out Tosco of all the soup and bread -
cheers
Steve

Southern softies that panic when there’s half an inch down…

WTF is it with people rushing out to clear the shop shelves of bread and milk?? People are going to be eating a shedload of bread and butter pudding…

It’s obvious you spent most of your journey staring into the cars around you rather than concentrating on the road ahead if you could see that the majority were all old people. Which puts you in the same category as the dicks.

inch

Theres 4 seperate accidents on the m11 alone. The Ironic thing is nobody is doing over 40 apart from the odd idiots driving in the outside lane despite the whole length from m25 to birchanger having signs saying its closed, but only 1 car involved in each accident. Quite a lot of abandoned vehicles on road into haverhill and 2 cars embedded into trees. A lot of snow has fallen and despite traffic its still settled onto main roads.

cullina?
we’ve had the snow all day in essex, but only ventured out locally, roads were so, so, its some of the divs that are on them that make it hard work.

Its about 6 inches deep and snowing periodically.

I’ve just come down the m5 tonight and between j1 and j5 there were three cars all separate incidents all facing the central reservation oh and a lorry jack knifed on the m54

I am here: maps.google.com/maps?ll=51.509223,-2.578366

Where were you in andover?

Been down to Swindon and back today from Spalding area, 605, 43 and 34 settling quite bad on the way back. Spalding area even in the fens at Holbeach is snowing a reasonable amount but more sleet than anything and not settling thankfully.

Seen plenty of ploughs with grit all day on the above roads, seems they getting the worst of it away tbh.
