I was thinking just that the other day. Nice set of tram lines in lane 2 now lol.
It has been a cut price job, the section between J16 & J17 is rough in places because the original carriageway has not been resurfaced.
This applies to many roads that are well past the best before date.
Theres a few ruts in the road through the M1 roadworks on the southern stretch, some right nasty cambers there that throw you about a bit, and thats in lane one!
