When I was an owner operator in the 80s/90s I used to refuse to deliver into London for reasons not unlike those described above.That usually meant Covent Garden Market.Around that time there was an organisation (forgotten the name)which used to issue permits to enter parts of the London area which used to make life difficult so i took the view that londoners can do without fruit.
Being the awkward sod I am,I also refused to entertain deliveries to car factories unless i was paid demurrage,which no one did.

I notice none of these oil lunatics have the balls or nerve to go and protest like they do here in countries such as China (who are the real culprits), likely because they know they would vanish and never be seen again!

Same here in Oz, mate. All this per capita bull, when we as a country put a tiny percentage of ‘greenhouse gasses’ in to the air. As tmcassett said; no balls to go to China etc and try the same there.
