i had a bad experience on the m6 near knutsford years ago 1998 approx driving a tanker in lane one fully laden with sugar i can see in the distance a aa van with its hazards flashing on hard shoulder bout 0400 slows down then a yull and dodds tipper is in lane 2 approaching the aa van i see a hgv halfway off the hard shoulder and in the first lane knowhere to go so i look to move into lane 2 then all off a sudden dodds wagon swerves into lane 3 and i end up into lane 2 then bang car on its roof went right over it knowhere to go soon as i moved over thought id killed someone but they had just got out luckily me that thought still haunts me the car driver had worked 24 hours nonstop and decided to drive from bristol thats my story
