M25 closure

Don’t forget M25 is now shut Jct 10 to 11 all weekend reopens Monday morning.
Good luck to anyone that has to go that way.
More closures are planned during the year. As there taking down a bridge and building a new one

The M25 is circular. Its surprising how many people seem to think that the Northern orbit doesn’t exist including the highways agency diverting all that traffic through Byfleet or Tolworth etc.Much of which is going from Kent to the M1 etc.

WRONG ! The M25 is not a 100% 360deg road as 3 miles is the A282

That obviously explains the logic of going to/from Kent to/from the M1 via Surrey and Bucks and Hertfordshire even when the M25 is closed between 10 and 11.

Never go down there and thankfully. You can keep it. Imagine that closure would cause havoc with all the weekend warrior’s.

Am curious how much Kahn will make from fines as drivers stray into the green /clean air zone by mistake as they follow the official diversion route which takes you over the M25 into the zone.
Surely it hasn’t been done this way on purpose it’s. just a coincidence

It’s been so well advertised that the diversion routes are not much busier than normal.

The ULEZ does not apply to the official diversion route. It’s always switched off for diversion routes.

Our drivers went clockwise and anti clockwise on sat morning driving up from Southampton and came back same way with zero hold ups. In fact they were actually quicker than when fully open

The official route, or many other diversion routes, don’t enter the ULEZ at any point.

The M25 was in a much worse state Monday when a Pallex DD closed jct 14 Northbound all day!

I was going anti clockwise when the poor guy was on the floor, paramedics stood around him. I was surprised no one was rubbernecking
