They should pay the extra and do it properly. And sort J5 out once and for all, ridiculous arrangement that all because they used a bit of an existing road.

‘Managed motorway’ actually means four lanes of traffic all travelling at the same ‘managed’ 40-50 mph speed.They’ve lost the plot in that the original object of the excercise in building a motorway was to provide higher speeds whereas now they’ve just given in to the idiots who want to travel in lanes 2 and 3 at 50 mph by altering the speed limits to suit and forgetting all about the idea of lane discipline by putting in as many lanes as possible and just telling the idiots to take their pick. :unamused:

That and the fact that “Managed” and "gantries " with Speed camera’s fitted to them = Revenue generation ,which is all they bothered about

Think i was one of the lucky one’s… did my first “ton up” on m1 when it was first built near rugby.was noly 17 and in my dad’s zodiac with a few mates. what a thrill that was :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
