Is there anywhere decent to park (NOT LAY BY) off the 23 to Brighton with preferably a pub and chippy.
I parked on an ind est at Crawley the other night, but it was a bit out of town, I used to pull off at Pease Pottage to Chalet Café at Cowfold but he closes now half way through the day

Nothing on the A27 apart from a lay by with no facilities at Lancing. The bottom of the A23 at Poynings has a nice little parallel road which has a Marks and Spencer BP garage and a pub called The Plough (excellent food but expect to pay for it) BN45 7FN is the postcode.
if you come off at the pease pottage junction & head for horsham there’s the chalet cafe at faygate & a pub round the corner
