This new junction is now partially in use. Obviously there are fairly similar junctions in use on the national network but 1st impression from use and looking at the plans seem to point to a monumental ■■■■ up. Three junctions within little more than 2 miles, J10 and J10a only 700 yards apart and on a summit. J10 has a history of collisions and now there will be conflicting on, off and through traffic in the space of 1/2 a mile. Westbound entrance to the M20 which has a poor sight line already will be interesting to say the least. The signposting at present is poor, there could at least have been a temporary route diagram for traffic from a westbound A20. It had a national speed limit sign erected facing traffic entering a 100 yard length of approach to a roundabout last week. It won’t be long before it is all dug up again because the various rounabouts won’t function without traffic lights. £104 million.
Junction 10 is closing permanently soon.
Junction 10 will NOT be closing
