well i think it has to be said that not so many years ago brit drivers were the ones having all the accidents in the European countries, and its not as though we had phones, laptops, dispatchers or radio tuning to distract them. mind you getting a tacho chart frizzby style in through your mates open window as he was overtaking you was an art all of its own.

I can’t ever remember seeing a British truck and a spun-around local’s car on the hard shoulder of a mainland European motorway in over 20 years of doing continental work, yet you can see an eastern European truck and a spun-around local car on the hard shoulder of any British motorway you care to mention, a dozen times a day, and have been able to every day for the last decade.
Coincidence? I’m thinking maybe not.
