M11 roadworks

Me in dozy mode was driving down M11 past Cambridge in the roadworks at 50mph and a car over took me then slowed down to 40. I then in prat mode thought it was a good idea to past said motorist and me not noticing it was a 7.5t lane until I drove under the camera

My question what’s the fine and is its points aswell…yes I am a prat before anyone points it out

Just bumping it up, carnt find anything on the internet, At a guess it be £100 +3 points for me driving in day dream mode…any help to my question?

Pretty sure the camera is just a speed camera there.

I hope so because I been kicking myself all weekend. I am sure they are 2 different size cameras

Same happened to me last Tuesday in those roadworks, completely forgot about the 7.5T limit :open_mouth: But what gets my goat more is the fixed 7.5T restriction on the outside lane further up the road when you’re following a loaded wagon doing 40mph up the hill but can’t overtake :angry:

Yes that one always seems a bit pointless, a lot of drivers don’t take any notice of the ban.
