Just been on the news that a lgv overtaking ban starts on M11 next month for 2&half miles near Saffron Walden section.
That will be up the hills near jct 9 then.

That section from 8 upto 9 should be three lanes each way anyway but then again that means spending money!!!

that section is also meant to be having SPECS, to be trained to pick out truck numberplates ignoring the overtaking ban.
Thought the picture in that link looked odd, sussed out what its is now…the ban is south of J9 and the picture supplied is looking north just before J10!!
