M1 South J20 Lutterworth

Saw a person lying in lane 1 of the M1 South just before J20 earlier about 13:20, had only just happened by the looks of it as there were no emergency services on scene, there were plenty of people stopped to help though.

There were 3 hgvs still in situ when I came back north and the M1 south had been closed by then, it looked as though someone had been struck by a passing truck.

closed till 8:30 pm with some long queues approaching the closure and trapped at the scene.

Hope the person involved was not seriously injured but it didn’t look good.

wonder how many cars and lorrys passed the “red x” sign on the gantry before hato coned it off at j21.

I passed this at about 4pm and there was a few cones placed in a circle with a tarpaulin placed over them, I thought it must have been a body, after checking on google it said a pedestrian had been hit.
