Why can’t hauliers secure their loads 
Been shut over an hr so far 
I got caught up in the local traffic crossing the M18 J1 while in a funeral cortage, the whole area was/is gridlocked.

Was it not secured? Shouldnt assume it wasnt but cant see how it would of fallen off if it was secured probably.
I came upon it, so went up to J1 on the M18, turned around and came back south, then went under the tunnel to head back north on the M1 with no hold up.

Of course it is.
We could certainly sort out this countrys financial woes by getting rid of Beverley Bell and all the other TC’s. We could replace them with a TN you’re guilty court. From the comfort of our armchairs we could pronounce guilt without evidence on everybody. Never mind leaping tall buildings, we could specialise in leaping to conclusions!

With all due respect Speedyguy, all that photo shows is a guy in a chem suit doing something through the opened curtains of a trailer. For all we know a container being transported could have split in transit, the driver spotted/was warned and duly pulled over to investigate.

Ok I’ll take less notice of the BBC1 report in future .
To be honest a lot of debris & ‘shed’ loads I’ve seen & dealt with have been pretty avoidable, I suppose apart from them where the driver has anchored up & swerved for some reason or rolled it.
On bends loads coming off ‘hazchem’ but the truck not even marked up with orange boards 
, Other loads coming off & the driver usually says it’s not happened before, which is surprising given the state of some of the loads I’ve seen, so you’ll have to forgive me for having a bit of a tainted view of some things, I’ll try & work on getting over it

That’s what I naively thought when I have up trucking.
