You’re nearly there Ben9 but WBIS,after a couple of clues,got the full list of € note prefixes that I was referring to.Question is,though ,what’s going to happen with these notes if/when we have a 2 speed € .IMF, Germany or whoever can’t possibly keep up the promissory value,can they?.I’m not an economist-just wondering.James, get them Ital beer tokens spent right away
I must admit it’s not something that overly bothers me at the minute, but 1 slight fly in the ointment is surely europes banks will have to shut for a day or 3 whilst the (poor) euro notes are taken out of the system.

the notes will remain in circulation and greece can print new monopoly notes (drachmas) and the euro will be a stand alone currency in the affected countries maybe?
as for italian beer tokens i bought some bottles of limoncello for SWMBO and her mum for chrimbo

As far as I understand the Euro is administered by the European Central Bank, so all euro’s wherever they are issued will have the same value.
